Merriamīs Turkey Hunts
April 15 through May 10
Due to ever increasing turkey populations, New Mexico is fast becoming a Mecca for the serious turkey hunter. In the past few years, northern New Mexico and the Santa Fe National Forest have experienced many large wildland fires. Although these fires have, in some people`s opinion, reduced the scenic value of many areas, they have tremenously improved the quality of the wildlife habitat, which in turn, has caused a dramatic increase in turkey populations.
Bear Creek Adventures LC has access to thousands of acres of both private and public lands that harbor some of this new, quality habitat. If a guided turkey hunt is something you have been considering, now is the time!
